this year is off to a very happy start…

We kicked off Heart Month a bit early by celebrating on January 17th in San Francisco.

Then hosted another event on February 3rd in Orange County…
Feb 3 event

It was so much fun to celebrate the new year and heart month with so many amazing individuals who want to join in helping to deliver happiness to children and families affected by congenital heart disease. From the generous donations received at these events we were able to give back to two families at UCSF Benioff Children’s Hospital. We had the pleasure of surprising them at the hospital while they were consulting with their cardiologist. The smiles we saw in the midst of chaos were unbelievable. We are so thankful for the generous support, so we could make this happen!

Although, this year has already brought so much happiness, we also recognize that Congenital Heart Disease is a life long battle. We had to say goodbye to a very special heart warrior at the beginning of January, Noah Bella. She left a huge impact on the heart community and we will continue to honor her through our work. We also found out there will be more surgeries in 2017 for several individuals with CHD including myself. This won’t set us back and will only make us stronger. We will continue to fight on!

Project Happy Hearts will be setting up a pop-up FREE heart screening for the San Francisco yoga community at the end of the month. Again, because of the generous donations we will be able to save lives through our screenings. Stay tuned for specific details and get excited for yoga, heart health, shopping, community and more.
